In this project, a 3D model from abstract to figurative is built inspired by the way the tool moves. We start from two-dimensional analysis and drafting, and then transform the two- dimensional vision into an independent three- dimensional model. After that, we deconstructed the 3D model into a multi-faceted analyzed site to form the final narrative site model.
This project captures the dynamic movement of corkscrew rotation and the balance of symmetry with asymmetry, serving as inspiration for an altar dedicated to Shub-Niggurath from Cthulhu mythology. The mythos emphasizes the insignificance of humanity compared to cosmic entities, mirrored by the scale and intricacy of the work itself. The rotating structure symbolizes Shub-Niggurath's numerous tentacles, evoking an otherworldly presence and the tension between order and chaos.
